1. About this policy

Better You is a personal planning service that connects what matters with the time a person actually has. This policy applies when you visit the public website, create an account, use Better You, connect a supported service, or contact us.

Better You's operating entity is being established in Delaware, United States. The final legal entity name, registration details, and required address information will be added after formation. Privacy and account correspondence is handled through support@getbetteryou.live.

2. Information we process

We process information you provide, including account details, goals and preferences, Tasks and To-Dos, planning information, information entered into Capture, reflections, notification choices, feedback, and support communications.

We also process information needed to operate and protect the service, such as product interactions, connection and synchronization status, reminder delivery information, and basic technical or diagnostic information. If you connect a third-party service, we receive the information needed to provide the features you request.

Better You does not monitor your inbox. Email-forwarding intake is not active.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and personalize Better You; support planning and organization; operate user-directed integrations and reminders; secure accounts; prevent abuse; diagnose problems; improve reliability and usefulness; provide support; and comply with legal obligations.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on the basis appropriate to the purpose, which may include providing the service you request, your consent, our legitimate interests, or compliance with law. You may withdraw consent where processing depends on it.

4. AI-assisted features

Better You may process information you provide to deliver AI-assisted features, including helping organize information and support planning. We send only the information reasonably needed for the feature you request to service providers that help us provide these features.

Those providers process information under their applicable terms and retention practices. AI-generated results can be incomplete or incorrect, so you should review them before relying on or saving them.

5. Google Calendar

If you connect Google Calendar, Better You accesses Google Calendar information only after you authorize it. We use selected calendar information needed to understand your availability and provide scheduling features. If you choose calendar-writing features, Better You may create or update calendar entries on your behalf.

We store protected Google connection credentials, your selected calendar settings, and the connection or event information needed to keep the integration working and synchronize the actions you request. We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect this information.

Google user data is used only to provide or improve the user-facing features you request. It is not sold, used for third-party advertising, or used to train a general-purpose AI model. We share it only with service providers as needed to operate Better You, when you direct us to, or when required for legal or safety reasons.

You can disconnect Google Calendar in Better You or revoke access through your Google Account. Disconnecting removes the Better You connection but does not automatically delete entries already stored in Google Calendar. You may request deletion of applicable Google data through our Data Rights page.

Better You's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. When we share information

We share information only as needed with service providers that operate Better You, with integrations you choose to connect, when required by law or to protect safety and rights, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate protections. Service providers may include providers of hosting, authentication, AI-assisted features, notifications, connected services, and support tools.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information for third-party advertising.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain the choices and history you request, protect Better You, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention depends on the type of information and why we process it.

When information is deleted, limited records may remain where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or integrity purposes.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption and access controls where appropriate. No online service can guarantee absolute security. See our Security page for more information and responsible reporting.

9. Your choices and rights

You can update supported account information and content, manage notifications and preferences, choose whether to connect integrations, and disconnect Google Calendar. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent.

Use our Data Rights page or contact support@getbetteryou.live to make a request. We may verify your identity and will respond according to applicable law.

10. International processing

Better You and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. International processing is handled in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

11. Children

Better You is not directed to children. You must be legally able to create an account where you live and have any permission required from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided information inappropriately, contact support@getbetteryou.live.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Better You or its data practices change. The current version shows its last-updated date. We will provide additional notice when required by law.

13. Contact

For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, email support@getbetteryou.live. You may also contact the privacy or data-protection regulator available to you under applicable law.
