Help with Better You

Practical guidance for the current beta, with one direct route to support when something is not working.

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Controlled beta. This page describes how Better You operates today while the service, its operating processes, and these policies continue to mature. We will keep it updated as Better You develops.

1. Getting started

  1. Create an account, confirm your email if prompted, and complete the relevant onboarding details.
  2. Use Capture for something on your mind, or open Plan to build a realistic day.
  3. Review a draft before saving it. AI-assisted suggestions do not replace your judgement.
  4. Use Today to follow the plan, then Reflect when you want to adjust what comes next.

2. Sign-in and account help

If your password is not working, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page. If you created an account but cannot sign in, check whether an email-confirmation message is still waiting, including the spam or junk folder.

Never send support your password, one-time authentication code, reset link, or provider token. Self-service account export and full account deletion are not yet available; use the Data Rights guide for a verified request.

3. Goals, Projects, Tasks, and To-Dos

Use Goals for a direction or outcome, Projects for multi-step work, Tasks for meaningful work within a Project or independently, and To-Dos for smaller actions and reminders. Where available, archive or cancel an item when removing it from active scope instead of marking unfinished work complete.

If progress appears wrong, first check the state of linked Tasks and Milestones and whether a manual progress adjustment is active. Include the affected page and item type—not private titles or notes—when asking support to investigate.

4. Planner and saved plans

The Planner prepares an editable draft around known commitments, availability, selected work, and confirmed preferences. Review every block before saving. If saving fails, keep the page open, note the approximate time, and retry once after checking the connection.

Calendar or provider failures should be shown rather than treated as free time. Important deadlines remain your responsibility; use the source Calendar or another backup for safety-critical commitments.

5. Google Calendar help

Google Calendar is the active Calendar integration. Connect, select calendars, choose a write destination, or disconnect from Settings. Existing Google users are not automatically forced into broader multi-calendar access; expanded access is explicit.

If a connection needs attention, reconnect from Settings. Disconnecting removes the Better You connection but does not automatically delete events already saved in Google Calendar. Additional Calendar integrations are not current public functionality until they are activated.

6. Reminder and notification help

  • Enable notifications from Settings on every device where you want them.
  • Allow browser or installed-app notification permission when prompted.
  • On iPhone or iPad, Web Push requires a supported system version and Better You installed on the Home Screen.
  • Check Focus, Do Not Disturb, browser notification, and operating-system settings if delivery was accepted but nothing appeared.
  • Apple may present an iPhone notification on a paired Apple Watch depending on device state.

Delivery depends on third-party push services and device settings. Avoid relying on a single push notification for an emergency or critical deadline.

7. Capture and Universal Intake

Manual Capture and Universal Intake turn intentionally submitted text into a bounded set of editable suggestions. Review the proposed type and details, choose what to accept, and correct anything that is incomplete or wrong. Fixed-time appointments or ambiguous text may be withheld rather than guessed.

Better You does not monitor your inbox, fetch links, process attachments, contact people, or automatically create every suggestion. Only text you intentionally submit through the current product is processed by Universal Intake.

8. Privacy, data, and account requests

Read the Privacy Policy for current data practices and the Data Rights guide for access, correction, deletion, notification, Calendar, and preference controls.

Email support from the account address for a sensitive request. Identity verification may be required before information is disclosed or an account is deleted.

9. Report a product issue

Email support@getbetteryou.live with: what you were trying to do; what happened; the page or feature; browser and device; approximate date and time; and the exact visible error. A screenshot can help after you remove private content.

Do not send passwords, authentication codes, reset links, API keys, Calendar credentials, full Calendar contents, financial account information, or another person's data. Better You does not currently promise a fixed support-response SLA.

10. Report a security concern

Use the responsible reporting guidance before testing or disclosing a suspected vulnerability. Email support@getbetteryou.live with a concise description and safe reproduction steps.

11. Contact support

Email support@getbetteryou.live for product help, account or privacy requests, and responsible security disclosure. Better You currently provides support in English through this address.
